Transit is a floor installation that is intented to be continually altered by the visitor’s action. It works as a collective atlas inviting the audience to intervene while reflecting on migration and displacement.

Suggesting of a world map (or perhaps a sky map or a maritime diagram), the work provides a starting point for the public to trace routes and stories using the objects on display (or whatever they want). Ultimately, it is an invitation to reflect on migration as a unstoppable human phenomenon, which has transported people from one place to another across the planet since the begining of time.

By addressing thopics such as displacement, geography and memory with their symbolic loads, the project seeks to reflect on the intense transit of individuals in globalized times, while also addressing aspects such as multiculturalism, identity and personal stories.
