Millions of men and women moving across a global territorial;
this is the scenario that configures the dimension of the contemporary.

Transit is a floor-based installation designed to be continually reshaped through visitors’ actions. Conceived as a collective atlas, it invites the audience to intervene while reflecting on migration and displacement.

Evoking a world map (perhaps also a celestial chart or a maritime diagram) the work offers a point of departure from which participants can trace routes and narratives using the objects provided, or any materials they choose to introduce. In this way, the installation becomes a living, evolving cartography of movement and experience.

Ultimately, Transit frames migration as an unstoppable and enduring human phenomenon that has carried people across the planet since the beginning of time. By engaging with themes of displacement, geography, and memory, along with their symbolic weight, the project reflects on the intensity of movement of individuals in a globalized world, while foregrounding multiculturalism, identity, and personal histories.
