The Artist’s Mountain
Print + embroidery on fabric
2023

The Artist’s Mountain was created as part of the art project for my master’s thesis “ The Mountain as a Metaphor”*. The mountain represents the obstacles the female migrant artist encounters in her attempt to develop a carrer in the unequal (origin/gender/skin colour) European world of art. This piece is thought as a map of paths with treads, circunstances and a destiny.
